Prospecting mode helps you quickly research an account or executive and produce decision-ready outputs you can use immediately. Each mode runs focused research (web, LinkedIn, and your internal materials) and then generates collateral tailored to your goal. That includes building an account strategy, writing targeted outreach, formalizing executive sponsorship, or enabling a champion to win internal approval.

Getting Started

To start a prospecting session, open the left side nav, and click + New Session then click the Prospecting option.

Then, you can decide from a few different types of prospecting modes: Account Strategy, Personalized Outreach, Executive Sponsorship and Champion Enablement.

Prospecting Modes

Research Sources

Along with any Prospecting Session collateral generated, oper8r will also give you the sources that were used to generate the collateral. Depending on the collateral, this can include:

Account Research

  • Web searches and site scrapes: Scraped pages from the company's website and recent news articles.
  • Potential decision makers: A list of potential decision makers within the company, their roles, locations, and links to their profiles.
  • Company LinkedIn profile: Summary snapshot of the company's LinkedIn page (hq, headcount, description, etc.).
  • Recent LinkedIn activity: Recent public posts from the company's LinkedIn feed with timestamps and links.

Individual Research

  • Prospect LinkedIn profile: Role, location, summary, and recent experiences.
  • Prospect LinkedIn activity: Recent public posts with timestamps and links.

Internal Relevant Materials

  • Internal searches, site scrapes and documents: Relevant scraped pages from your company's website, documentation, and any uploaded documents.

Account Strategy

You can use oper8r to run deep research and build detailed account strategy documents that will help you and your account team gain perspective on how to prospect into an account.

  • Build a decision-ready, executive-level strategy document for a target account using gathered research.
  • Align on what matters most to the account and where your solution can create measurable impact.

Output

  • Concise executive summary with outcomes, KPIs, and immediate next actions.
  • ICP fit and account snapshot to frame context quickly.
  • Top goals and priorities table with evidence links.
  • Opportunity hypotheses (land/expand) tied to outcomes and rationale.
  • Capability mapping matrix connecting pains to your proof and expected results.
  • Leadership and stakeholder map with potential champions, buyers, influencers.
  • Messaging angles, email/call openers, and suggested enablement assets.
  • Risks/objections with counters and sources; next 2–3 executive-ready actions.

Personalized Outreach

You can use oper8r to run deep research and craft detailed messaging at the individual or account level.

Intention

  • Craft a highly personalized email to a specific executive based on their profile and recent public activity.

Output

  • Specific subject line tied to their initiative or quote.
  • 100–150 word email body that references their post/statement and connects to your value.
  • One clear, soft call-to-action suitable for an executive.
  • Links back to the cited public source where applicable.

Account High Level Messaging

Account Outreach

Intention

  • Create an account-relevant outreach email that anchors on current priorities and evidence from research.

Output

  • Focused subject line tied to an account priority or initiative.
  • 80–120 word email body oriented around account outcomes and proof.
  • One clear, respectful call-to-action to start a conversation.
  • Inline evidence lines with links back to source material where applicable.

Executive Sponsorship

You can use oper8r to run deep research and craft executive sponsorship messaging and memos to help you get higher in your accounts.

Intention

  • Formalize and elevate a customer relationship with an executive sponsorship package.
  • Align leadership on value delivered to date and the next set of executive commitments.

Output

  • Executive introduction email from your sponsor proposing sponsorship and value themes.
  • Executive alignment memo: partnership overview, strategic opportunities, executive commitments, success metrics, and next steps.
  • Clear, time-bound actions to move the relationship forward.

Champion Enablement

You can use oper8r to run deep research and build champion enablement documents to help your champion sell for you internally.

Champion Enablement

Intention

  • Help a champion write an internal, executive-ready memo that earns approval using the Beach Ball framework.

Output

  • Memo structured as: Issue, Why It’s Significant, Ideal Outcome, Context & Progress, Options Considered, Recommendation, Next Steps/Ask, Risk Mitigation.
  • Optional options-comparison table to clarify trade-offs.
  • Concrete success metrics, timeline, and specific executive asks.
